Torn Apart is a narrative choice-based game that explores the internal struggles of a girl living with depression. Through monologue voiceovers, branching dialogue choices, and minimalist design, the player is pulled into the main character's emotional state and must navigate moments of doubt, connection, and self-reflection.
This project was created as a part of my capstone portfolio. I took on every creative role, from writer and designer to actor and visual storyteller, to craft a mockup game that feels deeply personal and stylistically cohesive. Torn Apart was built using a range of tools including Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro, InDesign, & Audacity.
